A computer based Image Acquisition, Processing, and Analysis system allows Scientists,
Engineers, Researchers, Systems Integrators, and OEM's to capture video
images into
the digital world of computers, where they can view, enhance, analyze, measure,
annotate, archive, and transmit them.
An imaging system may consist of the following components in addition to the computer:
- An image input device such as analog and digital cameras (both monochrome and color),
scanners, VCR's, video microscopes, medical diagnostic equipment, and previously digitized
images retrieved from networks, disks, CD-ROMs, e-mail, or web sites
A frame grabber, USB or IEEE1394 (firewire)
interface, and any associated interface cables
Software to acquire, analyze, measure, process, and store images and
video clips
These products have been used in real-world applications for close to twenty-five
years, and a niche market has evolved, served by numerous manufacturers producing
digital imaging cameras, frame
grabber and image processing hardware, analysis and processing software, and related
peripheral devices.
This is the market served by I-CUBE. We resell and integrate products which
solve specific customer application requirements. Our knowledge of available
products and years of applications experience in a wide variety of fields benefits our
customers by:
- Saving them hours of reviewing data sheets and speaking to salespeople
- Assuring component compatibility (camera/board, camera/board/software, cables)
- Selecting products which satisfy application requirements while minimizing cost
Since we sell most of the products we recommend, there is no additional cost to the
customer for this service. And since we have no obligation to any one vendor, we are
free to recommend the best products for any given application. We
don't carry all products from all manufacturers, rather carefully select
products from each manufacturer's line that offer the best price/performance. |
